Very tailored, thick and sturdy arming cap padded with wool and double sewed collar. You must have this under the helmet or chainmail and the sewed collar made the wearing from an goatee, from pauldron or an hauberk essential comfortabler and safer. The collar has a stabil leather strap with buckle on the front side for resize. On the shoulders are two revited leather straps for affixing of Pauldron or arm stuff. This Coif is very well cut and sits therefore perfect, as shown on the picture. Through the processed wool instead the often used plastic foam, you sweat a lot less.
