Very nice pricker. The grip-plates are riveted with three steel rivets to the blade, the jaws are also made of steel and decorated. Prickers were general purpose tools and had been in the high and late Middle Ages also like to use for eating, since the fork from Christians, especially north of the Alps was, frowned upon as the devil's work.

Overall length: about 23.5 cm.

Damascus Steel Fork with Silver Inlay 89,00 �

Handforged fork made of 512 layers of Damascus steel with polished horn handle. At the fork and around the handle back were inserted very finely inlays after the Ottoman Art from real silver. Inlay work such as this are common in almost all cultures and times. An absolute eye-catcher at every table. The floral pattern is in the style of the high and late Middle Ages.

The fork was frowned upon by Christians as the devil's work and was especially north of the Alps used only as kitchen tool.
