Bucket of oak wood with wooden mounting
Traditional wooden bucket handmade of oak wood with wooden rings and rope handle. Buckets of this type are suitable for almost every periods, as it has for many centuries be made. The narrow opening is better suited for water transport, and wide opening is better suited to swill etc..
Wooden buckets with wooden tires need more care than the buckets with iron rings. Sometimes a wood ring breaks. New tires can be made with some craft by self of willow or hazel wood.
