Damascenian Steel pricker with Silver Inlay
Handforged pricker made of 512 layers of Damascus steel with polished horn handle. At the pricker and around the handle back were inserted very finely inlays after the Ottoman Art from real silver. Inlay work such as this are common in almost all cultures and times. An absolute eye-catcher at every table. The floral pattern is in the style of the high and late Middle Ages. General purpose tools, prickers had been in the high and late Middle Ages also like to use for eating, since the fork from Christians, especially north of the Alps was, frowned upon as the devil's work.
Overall length: 19,5 cm
